MMU Business School was proudly hosted the Global Immersion Programme (GIP) with PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore, India recently. The 10-day programme was held at MMU Cyberjaya Main Campus with the participation of 45 MBA students accompanied by 2 faculty members from PSG.
The programme which was developed and organised by MMU Business School comprised a combination of module learning, field visits and knowledge sharing sessions by Industry experts. Modules that were facilitated comprised – Interpersonal Skills and Grooming, The Malaysian Economic and Business Landscape, Entrepreneurship Essentials, Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) Essentials, Strategy and Design Thinking for Innovation. These classroom interaction modules were further enhanced with respective field visits to Bank Negara, MaGIC and the TM One Experience Centre. Knowledge sharing sessions included dialogues with industry experts from MDEC, TM One, Tech Mahindra and MaGIC. Thrown into the schedule was also the element of fun, with sightseeing visits arranged to tourist sites in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
The feedback received at the end of the programme from all the participants and the management of the university was nothing short of genuine commendation and praise for the very engaging, insightful and value driven learning and educational experience received by all. In lieu of this, PSG Institute of Management has committed to sending 3 more batches of 45 MBA students each, to follow the GIP organised by MMU Business School at MMU, with the second batch due on 10 November for a programme period of 11 days.
