MMU was commendable by the Ministry of Education and schools community for its contribution in sharing expertise to introduce the PIBKS#PBL@Sekolah initiative. The eight-month programme marks its completion with the event Best of the Best Showcase and Symposium recently.
During his speech, Yang Berhormat (YB) Maszlee Malik, the Minister of Education, described the significant role played by MMU as a strategic partner was an enabler for knowledge transfer to the society and schools community, particularly in Kuala Lumpur. In the programme, MMU designed and trained teachers the use of Project-Based Learning in schools within the Bangsar / Pudu District in Kuala Lumpur. The programme exposed 148 schools to the experiential learning approach that focuses on the nurturing of the 21st Century Skills focusing on the 6Cs and IR 4.0 pillars.
Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohamed Eshaq together with Puan Maznah Abu Bakar, Education Director of Jabatan Pendidikan Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur attended the closing and award ceremony of Best of the Best Showcase and Symposium held at HGH Convention Centre.
