A total of 110 students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) attended a two-hour sharing session with Deloitte representatives in Melaka recently. The session focused on the role of the company as one of the “Big Four” accounting organisations in the world, 12th Deloitte Tax Challenge (DTC) as well as a session with internship students.
The sharing intends to empower the students with related knowledge and expertise for their successful careers. The faculty also focuses on collaborating with industry leaders as a platform for knowledge and experience sharing on the industry current and future needs. Therefore, this event exposed the students with the role of audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, tax and related services, which allowed students to have a better picture to determine their career path.
The session was well-received by the students and FOB will continue to organise the career talk in preparing globally competitive students. The talk was successfully organised by FOB lecturers namely Dr. Yip Yen Yen, Mr. Azizi, Ms Nirmala Devi and Mrs Fathiah Athirah.
