The Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) received a group of visitors which consists of 15 students and 3 teachers from Sekolah Menengah Agama Adni, Ampang recently. These young visitors aged 13 to 14 are the members of Young Journalism Club of the school. The students were welcomed with a speech and brief introduction of programmes offered by the Faculty of Applied Communication by Ms. Raja Razana, the Foundation in English Programme Coordinator.
Next, was the sharing session given by the Bachelor of Strategic Communication students, Ms Alya Yusrina and Ms. Adibah Mahirah. They gave an insights on what the projects they had been working on and real life experience as students of Bachelor of Strategic Communication. The programme continued with real life communication games activities conducted by two FAC lecturers, Mr Julian and Mr. Willie Poh. The communication games had the students really active on their feet and fully engaged. The session had a positive outcomes on the students. It has helped them to understand how important it is to be an effective communicator and also to understand how by studying this course can help in realising this objective.
