A total of 150 students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) attended the Financial Literacy Seminar by Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in Cyberjaya recently. The seminar aimed to create awareness on the need for financial planning and the importance of investing among students. It had also become a platform to increase the student’s knowledge on the current global and domestic economic and financial conditions so they can be financially ready in the future.
The seminar was conducted by En. Iskandar Rashdan Mohd Rusli, the Associate Marketing and Literacy Department of Finance of PNB. He emphasised on the importance of financial planning, introduction to money management, fundamentals concepts in investing and get to know PNB & ASNB. He also briefed the audience on the Kuiz Pelaburan PNB (PNB Investment Quiz). The competition is being held annually and is designed to educate the participants on investment and financial planning which will benefit the students to gain more insights and apply them in their daily lives.
