The Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) welcomed four postgraduate students from National Chi Nan University Taiwan (NCNU) for a 30-day Chinese Language Teaching Internship Programme recently. This year marks the fourth batch of the postgraduate programme that has strengthened the collaboration between MMU and NCNU in the area of academic, research & innovation, and student & staff mobility programme.
The programme kicked off with some classroom observation of Chinese for Beginners classes. The students were also given assignments in conducting their practical teaching in class for three weeks. They prepared lesson plans, conducted discussion after teaching activities, and revised their teaching method accordingly. Prof. Dr. Chi Wan-Hsian of NCNU expressed her gratitude to FAC in proving an avenue and opportunity for students to practise and enhance their teaching skills during their internship abroad.
