MMU Students Join Hands for Mural Painting Project

About 40 students and staff from Multimedia University (MMU) volunteered in a gotong-royong event by Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Banda Hilir recently. MMU team contributed to mural painting for walls inside the school compound. It was the first mural project that involved students from “Tanggungjawab Sosial Awam” subject, Watersports Club, Sekretariat Rakan Muda, Peers University and Persatuan Silat Cekak.

The students’ contribution and involvement will help to elevate their social skills as well as to build characters and teamwork spirit amongst them. It also serves as one of the avenues in an effort to give back to the community. The students also have planned to continue this initiative to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Nyalas, SK Ayer Keroh and other schools in Melaka.
