MMU Lecturer Shortlisted As Finalist at National Outstanding Educator Award 2019

Dr. Wendy Teoh Ming Yen, a senior lecturer from the Faculty of Business (FOB) was selected as one of the finalist recipients by Private Education Cooperative of Malaysia (EduCOOP) at Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka on 25 May 2019. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with Teacher’s Day celebration with full support from the Ministry of Education (MOE), Emerald Publishing Limited as well as local media press namely The Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) and Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad.

The event was aimed to honour the contributions of private institution educators from preschool to university level in Malaysia. More than 400 representatives from educational wings attended this prestigious event. Among the VIPs present were Datin Seri Hajah Nor Zamani (Director of Private Education Department of MOE), Prof. Dr. Huam Hon Tat (Chief Judge, Private Education Excellence Awards 2019) and Dato’ R. Rajendran (Chairman of EduCOOP).
