Around 25 participants from OUB’s various senior management levels attended a one-day of Design Thinking and Business Canvas Model Workshop at Hilton Double Tree in Kuala Lumpur. Prof. Dr. Murali Raman and Dr Robert Jeyakumar trained them to stay ahead of the competition with the right tools and know-how to effectively manage the digital tsunami in the business area. This programme is a starter for many other future collaborations with UOB as their Design Thinking Solution partner.
Apart from UOB, MMU Business School also approached the young generation in inculcating thought-provoking idea through Design Thinking (DT). Prof. Murali Raman and Dr. Sharmini in collaboration with Persatuan Kebajikan Sosial Selangor (PKSS) and MalProc Sdn Bhd exposed a couple of Mini Design Thinking activities as teasers, and primarily focused on how they should equip themselves to perform better in their school exams and life to UPSR candidates at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Batu Arang in Selangor recently. The session was conducted in fostering the students to think and solve problems more effectively.
In addition, MMU Business School was invited by HLX Management Sdn Bhd to be part of their recent tech talk themed “How AI can help startups & Digital Transformation” at Menara HLA in Kuala Lumpur recently. Dr. Ts. Kanesaraj Ramasamy is a trainer and consultant affiliated to MMU Business School presented his talk entitled “How MMU is Driving Data Analytics and Machine Learning as a Core Competency” together with leading Data Scientist and CEO of Skymind, USA Mr. Adam Gibson and CEO of Twistcode, Mr. Nurazam Malim. The event was organised by HLX in its mission to curate innovation in order to maximise and sustain its economic value
