Multimedia University (MMU) inked an MoU with Money Compass Media (M) Sdn Bhd at Cyberjaya campus recently. With this MoU, it enables the Finance unit in the Faculty of Managament (FOM) to use the online financial literacy programme called ‘U-Learn Money’ as part of the blended learning tools.
The programme features 100 short videos to address several topics including finance, investment, entrepreneurship, start-ups and business. The programme of U-Learn Money has gained support from various bodies including the PTPTN, Agensi Kewangan dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) & Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM). On top of that, the MoU also explores the possible collaboration in terms of knowledge transfer and university service responsibility projects.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohamed Eshaq, the President of MMU and Ms Amy Seok, the CEO of Money Compass. The ceremony was witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Nahariah Jaafar, the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Dr Huang Fa Jyh, the Company Director. Special guests from PTPTN, AKPK, FPAM, MFPC, MFPAA and Pitchin were also attended the signing ceremony and be part of the panelists for a roundtable discussion.
