Three international students from Multimedia University (MMU) met with Yang Berhormat Dr. Maszlee Malik and shared their insights and ideas during ‘Meet and Greet International Students with the Minister of Education’ session at the ministry office at Putrajaya, recently.
Wahidul Rayhan Abir from Faculty of Engineering (FOE) and Akila Ibnat from Faculty of Engineering seized the opportunity as they were selected to showcase their Bangladeshi culture in the International Cultural Exhibition. Meanwhile, the president of MMU Student Representative Council (SRC), Pouria Zibaei shared his journey and experience as a foreign student in MMU to the audiences.
There were 100 international students from 30 countries participated in the event. The session served as an avenue to strengthen the relationship with MOE as well as to share the living and studying experience in Malaysia. At the event, the International Cultural Exhibition was also participated by students from 14 countries such as Sudan, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, France, Thailand, Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, Germany, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Kenya. At the event, YB. Dr. Maszlee also launched the International Alumni of Malaysia Book in recognising the successful international alumni around the world.
