We are proud to announce that 3 teams of students from Faculty of Business (FOB) and 1 team from Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) successfully bagged 4 Silver Medals at Student’s Invention, Innovation and Design Exhibition (SIIDE) 2018 on 23 November 2018 at UiTM Melaka.
The students involved were Amjad Mohamad Elmagzoub, Janet Low Pei Ling, Fendi Norazam, Nur Diyana Asri, Gobinath a/l Chanteran, Thiara Lowrans, Sanat Shazrena, Tee Ling Xin, Eric Lee Kai Xuan and Dominic Tan Wen How. They were guided by Dr. Yeow Jian Ai, Ms. Nurshamimah Samsuddin, Ms. Maliza Mohd Nor and Ir. Dr. Ng Poh Kiat.
There were more than 170 teams from 10 universities around Malaysia participated in this exhibition. The exhibition serves as a platform to challenge and develop the students’ creativity and invention on products or services. It also exposes the students to be innopreneurs as well as entrepreneurs in the real business environment. The panels were from industry and management team from Malaysia Productivity Cooperations (MPC). One of the teams was shortlisted to present to the Director of MPC in the upcoming competition.
