Three final trimester students from Diploma in Accounting, Faculty of Business (FOB) namely Aishah Umairah Junet, Lee Shu Hui and Tay Loong An were announced as Top 5 winners in the 2nd National Accounting Diploma Quiz Competition (NADiQC) 2018 on 13 October 2018. The competition was jointly organised by Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Bangi (KPTM) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). There were 100 teams from 56 local higher education institutions participated in this annual competition at KPTM Bangi.
The competition aimed to test the understanding and general knowledge of diploma students in accounting related subjects such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. It is divided into four phases: Qualifying round, Quarter-Final round, Semi-Final round and Grand Final round. It was indeed a great achievement for our team to advance to the Grand Final Round. At the end of the competition, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC), Kuala Lumpur was crowned as champion of NADiQC 2018.
