Attended by more than 500 local and international participants, the fourth edition of International Youth Congress 2018 (IYC 2018) was successfully held on 1 November 2018 at MMU Cyberjaya. With its theme ‘Nurturing Values and Building Legacies’, the event was jointly organised by MyPerintis and Focus Malaysia.

The congress featured several prominent speakers that focus on three main content; Future Skills, Happiness Index and Nation Building. Among the speakers were Mr. Najmie Nordin; CEO Cosmopoint Group of Colleges, YM Tengku Munazirah; Founder of The Hope Factory, Ms Nurainie Haziqah; Lawyer & Social Advocate and others.

The IYC2018 was officiated by Yang Berhormat (YB) Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change. On the other hand, the closing ceremony was graced by YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, the Minister of Youth and Sports. It was also attended by Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohamed Eshaq, the MMU President.

YB Syed Saddiq also urged young people to speak out in order to build our nation to the betterment. He also pointed out that youth is playing a big role in ensuring the development of the country from different perspectives. He also believes in youth empowerment that can make a big change to the world.
