A total of 193 students majoring in International Business from Faculty of Business (FOB) attended an Industrial Talk entitled ‘An Overview of International Trade’ at Multimedia University (MMU) Melaka campus, recently.
The talk was delivered by two experts in international trade; Mr. Mohd Ronnee, the Manager of Communications & Stakeholder Management Department of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) and Mr. A.B. Teoh, who is not only an author of a book entitled “Exporting and International Trade” but also an Export-Import Consultant of more than 25 years of experience.
Mr. Mohd Ronnee shared the solutions offered by EXIM Bank to the business people while, Mr. Teoh related his experiences learning about international trade. Apart from that, the speakers also handed over books to the students during the event. The talk was organised by Dr. Susan Chin, the lecturer for the subject International Trade and Policy FOB. Also present during the talk and the “book handover” ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gerald Goh, the Dean FOB, Dr. Tan Pei Kian, Deputy Dean for Academic and Internalisation FOB and Dr Yeow Jian Ai, Head of Department for International Business FOB.
