MMU Students Emerge as Champion at Chooi & Company Moot Competition 2018

On 27th January 2018, two representatives from Multimedia University, Jason Nathan and Irfan Hussin were announced as champion at the Chooi & Company Moot Competition. The competition was held at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya (UM). It was organised and sponsored by renowned Malaysian law firm Chooi & Company. The students were trained by Ms Priscilla Shasha Devi, Mr CJ Jacobs and Mdm Asmida.

Chooi & Company is a law firm operating out of offices in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Established on 1 December 1962, it has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas with a particular focus on transactional and dispute-related commercial practice. The competition aims to test students on their legal knowledge and advocacy skills. The competition is catered for the final year students from all law schools in Malaysia.
