On 26 April 2018, four students from Faculty of Business (FOB) namely Raymond Toh Zhen Jia, Ho Jian Wei, Aaron Matthew and Vincent Ho Min Cheng represented Multimedia University to participate in the HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition 2018. The team won third runner-up among other 24 teams during the final round in Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur.

The HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition is organised by Enactus Malaysia Foundation and fully sponsored by HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad. The competition focused on the ultimate business case challenge that tested on students’ analytical, strategy generation as well as presentation skills. It also served as a platform to bring together students and representatives from top universities in Malaysia to utilise their business knowledge and skills in real-life business scenarios.

These resourceful, dynamic and highly motivated students demonstrated perseverance and dedication throughout the training as well as during the competition. This achievement is also largely attributed to the contribution of their mentor, Dr Tan Pei Kian. The panel of judges comprised of business leaders, executives, entrepreneurs and professionals representing various fields and industries were invited to evaluate the performance of the contestants.

Well done!
