In an inaugural session, the A.M. Beat with DSSR at Dewan Tun Canselor MMU, Cyberjaya.
On 25 April 2018, Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly shared an inspiring insight of his life journey with students and staff of MMU in an inaugural session, A. M. Beat with Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly at Dewan Tun Canselor, MMU Cyberjaya.
The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of TM spoke his mind for about two hours to more than 1,500 audiences from three campuses; Cyberjaya, Melaka and Johor. Also present were Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohamed Eshaq, the President of MMU and its management committee members together with few leaders of TM.
He started his exciting talk entitled ‘Be the change you want to be, be the future you want to see’ with a remark stated that, “Don’t let others define your future, but you, yourself must define it and then get the correct rhythm by having a mentor to inspire you.” He said, “What inspire you will take you to the destination.”
Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly also emphasised that every single decision making is an important process, where when you dare to make a decision, it will change your life. He related this with his own career development from early days until to who he is now.
MMU, to him, plays an important role for investment as the university is the best place to nurture Malaysia’s future talents. He also mentioned that, in five years time, Malaysia will open up 1.3 million jobs opportunity in Malaysia Vision Valley where MMU is the perfect avenue to supply the future talents.
Commenting on the #GoForIt Campaign, Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly advised the students to explore new challenges as they need to go out from their comfort zone. During the Q&A session, he enlightened that, students must exhibit their good values, be confident and be different in facing the future challenging era. The A.M. Beat has successfully ended with the audiences were inspired and motivated by the life experience of a great leader.
