Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) was invited to collaborate on a CSR event known as the 3E programme to enhance students’ interest in science and technology especially in the fields of electrical, electronics and electromagnetics (3E). The collaborative programme participated by 18 lecturers and students from MMU at the Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) Tun Ghafar Baba, Jasin, recently.

A total of 470 students from  MRSM Tun Ghafar Baba and Sekolah Menengah Tahfiz Al-Quran Jaim Chenderah, Jasin attended the awareness talk and exhibition sessions during the programme. The students were exposed to the latest development and research in 3E which provided a strong foundation for future innovators to explore science, engineering and information technology in an outside-of-the-classroom experience. It also served as a platform for students to relate the concept learnt in the class with real-world development and innovation.

Inline with Faculty of Engineering and Technolgy’s (FET) mission, “To inspire inquiring minds through innovative learning and research”, the initiative was successful in reaching out to the potential students by giving them a more practical overview of 3E as well as to bring MMU closer to the community.
