  • Entry Requirements
    • A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah with minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
    • A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification as accepted by HEP rigorous internal assessment; OR
    • A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah below a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification may be accepted, subject to a minimum 5 years working experience; OR
    • For specialised LLM for example Master in Construction Law, Intellectual Property or Banking Law, applicants without Bachelor of laws can be considered, provided they have a degree and experience in related field of studies.
    • A minimum overall TOEFL score 600 (paper-based) or 100 (internet-based); OR
    • A minimum IELTS (academic) overall band score of 6.0; OR
    • A credit in 1119 English Exam; OR
    • A minimum MUET overall band score 4; OR
    • Any other qualification which is of equivalent level as determined by the Senate of the University.
    • Waiver of English requirement:
      • The English language requirement and English interview is waived for the candidates who are natives of an/or have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees from countries that use English as the medium of instruction as well as the first language.
  • Programme Duration
    • Full-Time: 2 – 3 years
    • Part-Time: 3 – 5 years
