Multimedia University (MMU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Pertamina(UP), Indonesia recently. The signing ceremony was held virtually amid COVID-19. The MoA has strengthened the relationship between two varsities in organising staff and student mobility- exchange programmes, which will develop academic and cultural interchanges, scientific researches and other activities including teaching, learning in supporting internationalisation objectives for both institutions. This marked a significant collaboration in embarking on immediate virtual mobility programme for both students and faculty members in the relevant faculties at MMU and UP.

The MoA document was signed by Prof. Dr. Ho Chin Kuan, Acting President of MMU and Budi W. Soetjipto, Vice Rector of Research, Development and Partnership, Universitas Pertamina. Also participating the ceremony were Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President (Research and Innovation); Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, Dean of Faculty of Engineering (FOE); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chew Kok Wai, a representative from Faculty of Management (FOM); Ms. Indahsah Sidek, Director of International Relations Office as well as representatives from Universitas Pertamina.
