Prof. Dr. Mardeni Roslee from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) was invited as a guest of honour and an industry panelist in “Digital Solution Providers Get2gather4” at AGMO Space, Cyberjaya campus in December 2023. Organised by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) through a Digital Productivity Nexus (DPN), the event began with an opening remark by Mr. Asmawadi Mohamad, Senior Manager of Technology Section from MPC, followed by an in-depth presentation by Agmo Academy & Agmo Holdings Berhad on their core activities including conducting courses related to technologies. The MPC is the government body which focuses on the business of productivity and competitiveness improvement focusing at national, sectoral, and enterprise levels.

The event brought together industry experts, service providers, government agencies, academicians, and organisations in obtaining insightful perspectives on “Strategic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Implementation in Business: Balancing Efficiency and Ethics.” The sharing session was moderated by Mr. Shaifubahrim Saleh, Advisor of Persatuan Integrasi Komuniti Usahawan Muda (Pikom) and co-chairman of DPN, where Prof. Mardeni together with Dato Wei Chuan Beng, Chairman of DPN and Simone Macario, Founder of VOX AI, and Sharly AI from Italy. The session served as a platform to outline the state government’s plan towards Industry Artificial Intelligence, which was formulated to drive global digital growth. This engaging and informative session also showcased the latest innovation products ready for future in the AI Industry as well as 5G/6G Technology.
