Battery Storage Technologies & Their Potential Applications in the Power Systems

The webinar was held on 11th May 2020, 09:30 PM (Malaysian Standard Time
GMT + 08:00) via Zoom Meetings attended by 150 participants. The speaker was Prof.  Wei-Jen Lee, PhD, PE, Professor and Director, Energy Systems Research Center, The University of Texas at Arlington.

The audience were exposed to Battery Storage Technologies & Their Potential Applications in the Power Systems. The webinar intended to contribute information that will give a Smart Grid user a clearer picture of the state-of-the-art electrochemical technologies available, and where they would be suited for integration into a power generation and distribution system.

This event was co-organized by IEEE Multimedia University Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter (IEEE MMU PES SBS) and IEEE Multimedia University Student Branch (IEEE MMU SB) in collaboration PV Energy Storage Laboratory, Center for Electric Energy and Automation (CEEA), Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University and IEEE Malaysia Power and Energy Society (PES Malaysia Chapter)
