TALK ABSTRACT

Deriv Services Sdn. Bhd. is a multinational company that provides data analytics and IT services to the global market. Deriv is now looking for talented graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme. The programme will improve graduate portfolio multiple hands on projects that will be undertaken throughout six months. This is a paid programme where candidates will receive a monthly allowance. This programme is open to all Malaysian fresh graduates.

TECHNICAL SPEAKERS:

Dr. Shamini Pillay is currently the Training Manager at Deriv Services Sdn. Bhd. She received her B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Computer & Communications Systems and M.S degree in Communications and Networking Engineering from University Putra Malaysia, in 2001 and 2004. She recently received her Ph.D in the field of fiber optics from MMU in 2020. She is currently leading and managing the program curriculum of the BeSquare programme at Deriv Services. Apart from this, she will be facilitating the overall programme of BeSquare 2021. Previous to this, she has been in the academic field with 12 years attached to the Faculty of Engineering MMU.

Goh Choon Yih is currently the Training Manager at Deriv Services Sdn. Bhd. He has been in the academic industry for the past 17 years. With his experience in the academic industry, he has been the panel of assessor for Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) since 2013 to assist the agency in ensuring the quality of academic delivery by academic institutes in the nation. He is currently involved in designing, developing and facilitating the BeSquare programme at Deriv Services.
