Dear students,

#ShellSelamatSampai (#SSS) programme has been introduced in 2016 and this is our refreshed social investment programme to comprehensively drive road safety awareness and behavioural change among motorcyclists and youth. #ShellSelamatSampai Varsity Challenge (#SSSVC) is the university-segment programme that is the inter-varsity road safety innovation competition where we empower university students to take on road safety projects through innovation efforts in achieving towards Goal Zero road related accidents. As the programme has received full-endorsement from Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi (JPT), this competition is now open to all public universities and selected private universities in Malaysia.

 

Shortlisted participating teams will be given start up grant of RM 1,000.00 and have 6 weeks to implement their project and present their outcomes to a panel of judges. The Champion for #SSSVC will win cash prize of RM 10,000, trophy and certificates.

 

We would like to inform that the deadline of Team Registration and Project Proposal submission (https://sss-varsitychallenge.com/register/ – Password: #SSSVC) for all participants will ended by 31^st August 2023, Thursday. Please find the attached #SSSVC 2023 programme details for your perusal and we would appreciate if you could please share this information with the Engineering students (specifically). Apart from this information, the main intention for this email is to grant MMU permission for us to get to know the students by promoting our competition on-ground and garner the participations from them. The proposed date and details are as follow:

 

Date:  8^th August 2023, Tuesday

               Time: 10am – 5 pm

               Venue: Location where many students gathered (Uni to propose)

Setup: Mini table for registration with bunting (shell will bring) and mobile- concept
