Position : Junior IT Application Specialist

Department / Unit : Training

Employment Type : Full Time

Reports to : Manager (Corporate Training)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Junior IT Application Specialist and be based within our headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

In this role you would build automation using tools such as Microsoft 365 and maintain training portals. Your role is to support our business operations of respective departments. You will be heavily involved in the transformation of current business processes with the use of automation and digitisation. You would also be able to give our staff guidance and training on IT applications.

Responsibilities:
– Application Development
– Collaborate with other business team members to design, build, and maintain applications;
– Build automation for various platforms using common frameworks, mainly of Microsoft technology stack.
– Write and debug code.
– IT Application Administration and Support
– Manage all requests / inquiries from users;
– Troubleshooting issues. Liaise with vendors when necessary;
– Business Requirement Support
– Create reports to support business groups processes;
– Project Support
– Effectively communicate relevant project information with the business group and project team;
– Handle project documentation
– Provide continuous support in application operations and problem solving in relation to projects;
– Qualification and Personal Requirement:

0 to 1 year experience in a similar role.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Ability to apply academic knowledge to practice.

Someone who can communicate effectively with all levels of users and colleagues.

A tenacity to source and provide solutions.

Excellent Bahasa Melayu and English written and oral communication skill.

Job Type: Full-Time
– Knowledge of Microsoft development tools Visual Studio, Dot NET, Object Oriented Programming, C Sharp, Microsoft operating systems, Oracle or Microsoft database technologies and/or software testing methods are highly desired.

– Strong written and oral communication skills, analytical problem solving skills, teamwork skills and partnership skills.

– Demonstrate tolerance of ambiguity, self-motivation, versatility and flexibility.
