There has been an increasing growth of the usage of Internet of Things (IoT) technology by the industries and researchers in Malaysia. Due to this, it is important to equip the graduating and fresh graduates in Malaysia with the necessary knowledge in this technology to better prepare them for the workforce later. Therefore, IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter would like to propose a 2-day colloquium called National Colloquium on Internet of Things (NCIoT) that will be held virtually. The main objective of the colloquium is to gather experts in IoT from industries, academia, and government. It is also hope that the participants of the colloquium would be able to see the importance of IoT since part of the activities that have been planned include some showcases of successful IoT projects in Malaysia.
