MMU Students Achieve Excellence in ICAEW Professional Exams
Eight students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) and the Faculty of Management (FOM) received certificates in recognition of their excellent performance at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Malaysia Strategic Credit Awards 2023 on 13 June 2024.
Organised by ICAEW, this event celebrated students who excelled in their professional examinations. FOB students Tong Pang Xiong (Audit and Assurance), Fong Yun Wei (Financial Accounting and Reporting), Ng Chai Yee (Tax Compliance), and Nam Hui Qi (Business Planning), along with FOM students Lee Hau Sen (Audit and Assurance), Ong Yong Xun (Financial Accounting and Reporting), Celestie Liew Huey Yin (Tax Compliance), and Vijaiyalatchmy A/P Thiagarajan (Business Planning), emerged as the top achievers in the strategic credit courses offered by their respective faculties. These courses are part of MMU’s collaboration with ICAEW, integrating the ICAEW curriculum into the university’s academic framework.
This achievement underscores their dedication and exceptional performances of MMU students in accounting and finance courses.
