MMU Contingent Brings Home 15 Medals at SUKIPT 2024
Congratulations to our outstanding student-athletes for their impressive performance at the Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (SUKIPT) 2024! MMU proudly brought home 15 medals, including 8 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze, securing 9th place in the overall rankings for this year’s competition. This marks a significant improvement from the 2022 edition, where MMU placed 23rd. This remarkable achievement has further elevated MMU’s reputation in sports, showcasing our students’ talents and dedication.
A total of 89 MMU athletes competed in 13 sports, including table tennis, squash, chess, archery, and many more, proving their versatility and commitment to excellence. The athletes competed against 74 contingents from other universities at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) from 6 to 14 September 2024.
