FOB Administrative Involves as Industry Assessor Panel
Tc. Mohd Hanafi Mahamud, administrative staff from the Faculty of Business (FOB) involved in the Technical Validation Committee for Examination Questions (JKTPS 2023) at the Movenpick Hotel and Convention Centre, KLIA on 14 August 2023. Being appointed to the Industry Assessor Panel, Mr. Hanafi conducted a question refinement session to ensure the questions developed by expert teaching panels were aligned with the content of the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) and industry practices with other appointed members.
In another event, Mr. Hanafi also participated as an Assessor and Verifier Personnel (AVP) for the Malaysian Skills Certification System (MSCS) through the method of Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) at the Institut Perindustrian Pedas, Negeri Sembilan. The appointed External Examiner Panel was responsible for evaluating examination portfolios and evidence submitted by candidates pertaining to the Computer Network Services Level 3.
A total of 16 student candidates participated in this process. Those who qualify will receive the Malaysian Skills Certificate (Level 3) from the Department of Skills Development (DSD) for successful completion. The Final Examination of 2023 encompasses candidates from various Government Agencies, including the Department of Health, State Education Department, and Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council, as well as lecturers from multiple branches of polytechnics across Malaysia.
