MMU Students Named Semi-Finalists at the HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition 2021
Four students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) namely Nicklaus Gan Zhau Hern, Andelin Lua Pei Yin, Siti Jamila Syuhada Jailani, and Ng Kai Man mentored by Dr. Tan Pei Kian emerged as one of the Semi-Finalists at the HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition 2021, recently. The two-day competition was held virtually, and the team beat 20 other university teams to qualify themselves into the Semi-Finals.
The competition, which was organised by Enactus Malaysia Foundation, is an avenue for Malaysian undergraduates to apply their practical business knowledge and skills to real-life business scenarios. These cases involve students making detailed analyses, developing strategies, and assess the company’s financial status in order to provide relevant and practical solutions.
This competition is dubbed by many as the hardest business case competition in Malaysia. The panel of judges includes individuals that represent a wide range of industries and disciplines such as HSBC executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
Well done!
