FOB Steps Forward with 100-Strong ‘Kelas Dalam Talian’ Webinar
We are proud to announce that the Faculty of Business (FOB) has done an exemplary job of delivering a Social Responsibility Programme on behalf of the university by organising 100-Strong ‘Kelas Dalam Talian’ Webinar, recently.
The free-of-charge (FOC) programme involved delivering an online seminar, or webinar, to about 100 school teachers, on how to effectively deliver online teaching and learning, using the Google Suite for Education. Divided into six different sessions, the webinar sought to help teachers overcome the difficulties of conducting face-to-face teaching, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the supervision of Dr. Zakiah Melatu Samsi, the Deputy Dean Staff and Student Affairs, the programme has made possible for the school teachers to leverage online teaching and learning tools, so that proper social distancing could be maintained. Four FOB lecturers, Ms. Syarifah Diyanah Yusoh, Dr. Gan Chin Lay, Ms. Faezah Othman, and Ms. Ikha Fadzila Idris, delivered the programme over two slots each day. With the fact that MMU lecturers are highly experienced in conducting online classes, the programme also reflected the university’s vision of “Transforming society through innovation.”
