Exploring Effective Communication through Coloured Brain
On 24 November 2024, the MESRA Club hosted an insightful free webinar titled “Coloured Brain and Effective Communication”, featuring Dr. Susan Chin Tee Suan, a lecturer from the Faculty of Business (FOB). The session attracted participants eager to enhance their understanding of workplace dynamics and improve collaboration skills.
Dr. Susan captivated the audience with her expertise, emphasising the significance of recognising one’s own personality traits and work behaviors through the lens of the Coloured Brain. This framework, designed to decode thinking patterns and communication styles, encourages individuals to appreciate and adapt to the diverse work behaviors of their colleagues.
The interactive session included practical exercises, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging real-world examples, enabling attendees to relate the concepts to their professional experiences. Participants were provided with actionable strategies to foster mutual understanding, reduce workplace conflicts, and build stronger, more cohesive teams.
MESRA Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Susan for her enlightening presentation and to all participants for their active engagement. The club remains committed to organising such impactful events that contribute to professional and personal growth.
