Cultivating Awareness of Hibah and Shari’ah-Compliant Inheritance
Dr. Akhma Adlin, representing the Faculty of Business (FOB), extended a gracious invitation to Pn Hjh Siti Alwiah Daud, representing Wasiyyah Shoppe Berhad, an organisation renowned for its extensive inheritance services within Malaysia. Dr. Adlin invited Pn Hjh Siti to deliver a virtual lecture on the awareness of hibah and its paramount significance to the staff members of both the Faculty of Business (FOB) and the Faculty of Management (FOM) on 24 October 2023.
The session garnered active participation, with a total of 16 attendees engaging in a robust and interactive dialogue. Several participants posed insightful queries, seeking further clarification on the subject matter. During the session, Pn Hjh Siti emphasised the crucial responsibility that lies with individuals to effectively manage their properties and proactively plan for the equitable distribution of hibah among their family members, particularly in anticipation of their departure from this world.
