Unlocking the Transformative Potential of Data Science in Business
The Centre for Globalization and Sustainability Research (CGSR), Faculty of Business (FOB) organised a sharing session by Ts. Dr. Mogana Darshini Ganggayah, School of Business, Monash University Malaysia, entitled “Data Science in Business Applications” on 18 October 2023. The session was attended by 25 participants, where they explored the transformative power of data science in driving informed decision-making and creating competitive advantages in the business world.
This includes a discussion on how businesses can leverage data science techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and data analytics to optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and uncover valuable insights from their data. Through real-world examples and practical insights, the participants gained a clear understanding of how data science can be a game-changer for businesses across various industries, enabling them to thrive in today’s data-driven landscape.
