The Faculty of Business’s Banking and Finance Programme recently welcomed Assoc. Prof. Suresh Ramakrishnan, Associate Director at UTM International, for an impactful visit. During the session, Prof. Suresh, a renowned expert in global strategy, shared insights on “Development and Performance Environmental Sustainability in Malaysia.”

The talk highlighted the intersection of banking, finance, and environmental sustainability, emphasising Malaysia’s role in shaping sustainable financial practices. Prof. Ramakrishnan also emphasised on current green finance initiatives and discussed how financial institutions are integrating environmental criteria into their decision-making processes.
