Multimedia University (MMU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Firebird Institute of Research Management in a virtual event on 27^th October 2021. The pact was signed to further strengthen the effort in the development, knowledge transfers and furtherance of professional and global recognition of MMU’s business and management programmes. MMU was represented by its President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud while Firebird Institute of Research Management was represented by its Additional Director,  Prof. S. Jothiramalingam, in signing the MoA.

Through this cooperation, students from the Firebird Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme will complete the MMU Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme via credit transfer and micro-credentials modules. The students will also have the opportunity to visit Malaysia and participate in a series of cultural and industrial visits. Also attending the virtual signing ceremony were Mr. P Baskar, Senior Vice-President, Shiva Texyarn Limited; Prof. Dr. Ho Chin Kuan, Vice President (Academic and International Relations); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gerald Goh Guan Gan, Director of Strategy & Quality Assurance; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lim Way Soong, Director of International Relations Unit; Dr. Lye Chun Teck, Dean of the Faculty of Business and MMU officers.
