Spring 2025 Semester Nomination Call [CNU, Korea]
Spring 2025(~Fall 2025) Nomination is NOW OPEN!

Warm greetings from Chonnam National University, Korea!
We are very pleased to inform you that nominations for the 2025 SPRING Semester (March to June) are now open! You may nominate up to FIVE(5) students using the link provided below. Kindly submit a separate nomination for each student.

Nomination Deadline: October 30, 2024
Application Deadline: November 20, 2024
Nomination and Application Process
- Please submit your student nominations through the provided link by October 30, 2024. All nominated students should have valid passports, as they will be required to submit them during the application process.
- Nominated students will receive an email in early November with details on how to complete the online application. They must submit their completed applications, along with their passports, by November 20, 2024.
- No nominations or applications will be accepted after the deadlines.
- Please nominate students for either the Spring 2025 semester (1 semester) or the 2025 Academic Year (2 semesters). Nominations for the Fall 2025 semester will be announced at a later date.
- Ensure you select the correct program (Exchange or Visiting) when submitting your nomination.
- For the student’s email address, please provide their primary email, as all relevant information will be sent to that address.

As part of the applications, students will be required to attach the following supporting documents:
📌For students from OECD countries (as per passport):
- Recent academic transcripts (covering all previous semesters)
- Copy of the passport photo identification page
- A passport must be valid for at least 1 year after the semester ends in Korea.
- A passport-style photo with a white background (for the CNU student ID card)
📌For students from NON-OECD countries (as per passport):
- Recent academic transcripts (covering all previous semesters)
- Copy of the passport photo identification page
- A passport must be valid for at least 1 year after the semester ends in Korea.
- A passport-style photo with a white background (for the CNU student ID card)
- Certificate of University Enrollment with Apostille
- Bank Balance Certificate in the student’s name, showing at least $5,000 per semester
- Must be issued within 30 days of application
- The total amount must be frozen until the semester’s start date at CNU.
Scholarships for Spring 2025
No separate application is required for scholarships. Recipients will be selected based on their CGPA, English and Korean proficiency, and application.
MERIT Scholarship
Eligibility: Among all applicants, the top 5 students will be selected based on their CGPA, and Korean language proficiency score
– Previous CNU program participants will get additional points
Benefits: Dormitory fee waiver
GKS (Global Korea Scholarship)
Eligibility: CGPA above 80 out of 100, Korean language proficiency score
Benefits: Round trip flight airfare, monthly allowance around 500USD per month
Number of Recipients: 5~10 students
Best Partner Scholarship
Eligibility: Exchange students from partner universities (check the list below)
Benefits: around 400USD, ONE semester only
Number of Recipients: up to 3 students per university
