Huawei Seeds For The Future Program 2024
David Chew Hong Liang, a Bachelor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) final-year student from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming one of the top 8 winners in the Huawei Seeds for the Future Program 2024. David’s impressive submission included a research proposal titled “Why Is It Necessary To Constantly Evolve Cybersecurity Strategies To Address New And Emerging Threats In The Digital Landscape,” as well as a captivating 3-minute video showcasing his ideas on how AI can contribute to environmental sustainability and climate change initiatives. His self -introduction video highlighted his passion and potential, earning him a fully sponsored trip to Shenzhen, China, from September 22 to 27, 2024.
