EDC Bootcamp Goes Online! Apply before 22 April 2020

The Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC) is pleased to announce the 2020 Call for Applications of;
- MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY STARTUP SCHEME
- YAYASAN UNIVERSITI MULTIMEDIA AS SIDDIQ FUND
The schemes were introduced to drive the initiative to nurture entrepreneurship among students of Multimedia University (MMU) by providing financial support for the pre-seed and seed stages of startup. This cycle is opened to ALL MMU students. The team must nominate an academic staff with relevant expertise as a project mentor. Teams can apply for funding amounts per project up to RM35,000 for a duration of 12 months (award will be based on the merits of the proposals). Furthermore, all types of innovative entrepreneurial venture ideas are welcomed to apply including technopreneur, creative contentpreneur, socialpreneur, etc.

Definition of StartUp: A company founded by the University Student(s) that does not relate to any business or research activity of the University.
The As-Siddiq Fund is introduced to drive the initiative to nurture entrepreneurship among Asnaf students of Multimedia University (MMU) by providing financial support for the pre-seed and seed stages of startup using Tabung Amanah Zakat.
In order to qualify to apply for the scheme, the team must participate in Virtual Bootcamp organised by EDC. The date is 27th April 2020.
