FET Industrial Linkage Committee will be organising a Rapid Prototyping Workshop with James Dyson Foundation: Design Something That Solves a Problem in Your Home. This workshop will witness 10 groups of Additive Manufacturing student’s designs that solve a household problem. Before the workshop, Additive Manufacturing students have to define the problem statement, solution, what makes it different, a CAD drawing, and the impacts in three slides and a 3-minute pitching video. Their works are to be reviewed by the Dyson Engineers. During the workshop, a sharing of the Dyson design process by Engineers and feedback on student’s submissions by Engineers will be conducted. Students are highly encouraged to participate in this workshop. The details of the workshop are as follows:
