About Us
The Centre for Visual Computing (CVC) is a cross-faculty research centre focusing on enabling computers to perceive, process, analyze, understand and model visual data such as images and videos to solve problems in the age of Visual Big Data. CVC aims to be a premier research centre that conducts fundamental and applied research, disseminates knowledge, and drives extensive collaborations with international institutions and the industry. CVC spearheads R&D work to develop core technologies in visual computing, particularly in the following sub-areas:
