About Us
The Centre for Big Data and Blockchain Technologies (CBDBT) is a cross-faculty research centre with a focus on managing, processing, modelling and gaining insights through Big Data analytics, as well as preserving data immutability and decentralization through blockchains and distributed ledgers. CBDBT aims to be a focused research effort on Big Data and blockchain technologies to support the thriving ecosystems by developing new research and technologies to advance the field.
CBDBT leads research and development in Big Data and blockchain technologies, particularly in the following sub-areas:
