iCadet Programme is an Industry-University Partnership Programme aims to groom industry ready graduates with high employability. The objective of the programme is to provide students with early exposure to real-life work culture, knowledge and environment. It also helps to better prepare graduates for their employability. In short, iCadet Programme could be viewed as an extended internship programme.
What is iCadet Programme

iCadets will undergo activities such as the following list, but not limited to:
Corporate culture
Industry visits
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities
Onboarding activities
Company events
Knowledge and skills
Industrial training or internship
Industry-based assignment or final year project (iFYP)
Industry handshake programme (IHP)
These activities may be customized, combining other beneficial activities that suit the respective iCadet Programme industrial partner. Certificate will be issued to iCadets who completed the activities successfully.
Who can join?
All the penultimate (the second last year) and the final year students of all undergraduate students in their respective programmes are eligible to participate. Usually, iCadet can be appointed for a year or two years by a company.

Once you are appointed as iCadet, there will be a group of iCadets associated to you under the same company (e.g. The group is called CompanyX@MMU iCadet).
A Managing Officer (MO) from MMU (usually a lecturer) is appointed to provide advice to your group. He or she may come from a different faculty / campus.

- Look for an iCadet position that is related to your area of study and upload your CV to the company.
- You will be contacted if you are shortlisted for the iCadet position.

Visit iCadet Fair
We will be having the iCadet Fair on 4 April 2023 (Tues) at Multipurpose Hall (MPH), Cyberjaya Campus, and 5 April 2023 (Wed) at Learning Point, Melaka Campus. The time is 10am – 3.30pm. This is during the third week of your Trimester 2, 2022/2023. It is a great opportunity for you to make an application on the spot for your preferred partner company and meet them during the event.
